Success - A Continuous Process

We all strive for success in our life. How do we define this success???

• Achieving our goals?
• Fulfillment of our desires?

Desires have no end. We all want more and more in our lives. So, is our goals. Don't you think our goals are deeply connected to our desires?

SUCCESS IS A CONTINUOUS PROCESS

A child gets inspired to see a doctor treating the patients. Another one gets inspired to see the soldier guarding the borders. Another one gets inspired to see a Mechanic repairing a machine. All the children desire to be the one or the better of one whom they are inspired from and subsequently set their goals.

They all became what they desired to be. Are they successful? Yes, they are. 

But allow me to ask you these questions:

• How would you define the success of a doctor?
• How would you define the success of a soldier?
• How would you define the success of an Engineer?

Would you call a doctor successful if he is not able to attend to his patient? Would you call a soldier successful who steps back when the time to serve the nation come? Would you call an engineer successful who fears the technology to solve engineering problems?

No, Why? Because they need to serve their profession well throughout their careers. 

In this regard, Folks, Success is a continuous process!!!

Now let's assume they all three serve their profession well and then retire. Are they successful? Yes, they are. But, folks, allow me to ask you these questions: 

• How would you define the success of a retired person?

The experience gained over the years has an enormous power to deal with big problems. Would you call them successful if they refuse to share their experiences?

Folks, Success is a continuous process.

Allow me to ask you yet another question: 

Would you call a person successful who is doing great in career but not behaving well with his subordinates, family and maltreats other beings ?

He is successful in his career but failed professionally as well as socially.

Folks, Success is not uni-dimensional, its multidimensional. Folks, yes, success is a continuous multidimensional process. A sound moral character with a positive attitude and determined hard work are its basic ingredients...!!!
